Deerfield Valley Academy (DVA) was founded with a clear vision: to give young athletes the opportunity to pursue ski racing excellence without sacrificing academic growth. Launching in Winter 2025, DVA’s flagship Junior Ski Race Academy serves U12 and U14 athletes from across Massachusetts and beyond.
In partnership with Berkshire East Mountain Resort, our program delivers elite-level race coaching, physical conditioning, and holistic athlete development—emphasizing sportsmanship, nutrition, and mental resilience. Just as importantly, our academics are fully integrated, combining a flexible online/in-person curriculum aligned with Massachusetts standards and coordinated with each student’s home school. This ensures that while athletes train hard on the mountain, they also stay on track in the classroom.

We are committed to providing world-class coaching and personalized education in a supportive environment that challenges students to reach their highest potential. Through discipline, passion, and perseverance, we prepare young athletes not only to succeed in ski racing but also to thrive as lifelong learners, leaders, and champions in all aspects of life.
